ReLaunch your Engineering Career
At Trane Technologies, our talented people are what set us apart, and we're always looking for outstanding professionals to join our diverse team of climate innovators.
We offer many rewarding internships and career development programs, but realized that few programs exist for professionals looking to rejoin the workforce after taking a career break.
Not all careers follow the same path, and many talented professionals step away from the workplace for a period of time. Getting back into the game, especially in an Engineering-related field, can be challenging.
That’s why we developed ReLaunch – a 12-week, paid professional "returnship" opportunity for Engineers who have taken a voluntary break from their careers and are ready to put their passion and expertise back to work.
We are currently accepting applications for ReLaunch candidates for a 12-week Mechanical or Electrical Engineering returnship. We are excited about the opportunity to help qualified Engineers to relaunch their careers!
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of Engineering work experience
- BS or higher in an Engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Voluntary career break for 2+ years
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Interest in returning to a full-time role in engineering
What Will You Do?
This 12-week program provides professional development, mentoring, training, and networking for individuals ready to re-enter the workforce. ReLaunch professionals will work with Senior Engineers on meaningful and challenging projects with environmentally responsible products and services that are tied to Trane Technologies' role as a Global Climate Innovator.
Responsibilities may include work in the following areas: component design, idea generation, project management, lifecycle engineering activities, quality improvements, engineering process development and improvement, and test objective setting and methodology. Participants will gain exposure to design intent and performance as well as an in-depth knowledge of our equipment, and product development process.
Upon successful completion of the program, individuals will be evaluated and considered for full-time employment!
