CEES External Partnerships
Partnering With Others to Make Positive Change
Through CEES, Trane Technologies is a voluntary participant in several external sustainability initiatives and charters that help drive improved performance for our company and the greater community. We partner with the following:
Climate Leaders - Climate Leaders is a industry-government partnership that works with companies to develop comprehensive climate-change strategies. Partner companies commit to reducing their impact on the global environment by completing a corporate-wide inventory of their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on a quality management system, setting aggressive reduction goals, and annually reporting their progress to the Environmental Protection Agency.
Climate Resolve - Business Roundtable's Climate RESOLVE (Responsible Environmental Steps, Opportunities to Lead by Voluntary Efforts) initiative seeks to have every member company in every sector of the economy undertake voluntary actions to control greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve the GHG intensity of the U.S. economy.
GreenChill - The GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership is a cooperative alliance with the supermarket industry and other stakeholders to promote advanced technologies, strategies, and practices that reduce refrigerant charges and emissions of ozone-depleting substances and greenhouse gases (GHG).
SmartWay - Thermo King is an affiliate partner in SmartWay Transport, an innovative collaboration between the freight industry and government to reduce fuel consumption from trucks and rail delivering freight, operating costs associated with freight delivery, emissions of CO2 and emissions of NOx, particulate matter, and air toxics.
