Erica Gallant
Erica Gallant is an advanced systems engineer within Trane Technologies’ advanced concepts and capabilities organization, where she focuses on decarbonization and electrification of heating technologies. In this role, she helps guide the company’s strategy and research roadmap for decarbonized heating, builds collaborative relationships with external laboratories and universities to accelerate technology development, and advances emerging system technologies to higher levels of readiness for future commercialization across the businesses.
Erica’s career with Trane Technologies began in 2005. She spent more than 17 years in technology and product engineering for the Trane Commercial business, where she played a key role in developing low-global-warming-potential building heating and cooling solutions. Prior to joining Trane Technologies, she worked as a powertrain research engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Wartburg College and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
